Due to the announcement from both the Government and England Athletics that you can now exercise in small groups of up to 6 people, we are pleased to say that we are now able to start running events again. Every event will have a maximum of 5 people with 1 Run Leader, and social distancing guidelines will be upheld at all times. Yours and our safety is very important to us, and whilst we are keen to get going again, we want to make sure we are doing so in a safe way. Because of this we will not be able to offer some of the benefits that we normally would with our guided runs, so until we are allowed to resume normal service we will be running events at a slightly reduced price to compensate for this. Smaller group sizes does have one benefit though, as this means we will be able to run events more frequently due to less permits needed. We will also be holding events in different locations to normal, and we will be doing this in locations that will be less busy, with routes that are easy to pass other members of the public and keep a safe distance on. Our first event is coming up on Sunday 21st June, starting in Trowse following parts of the Boudicca Way to an old Roman town, before heading back to Trowse. Covering a distance of 10 miles, this is a surprisingly hilly route, with great views out across the countryside. At the time of writing there was just one place left, and you can find out more info on the events page. If you would like to attend an event and you have a place deffered from a previous cancelled event, please email us at escapetrails@outlook.com and we will give you priority. |
