Festive Not Quite 13

Join us for a guided trail run from Buxton, perfect to run off the Christmas excess. Starting off along the Bure Valley Railway, the route heads to Aylsham. Before coming back via the countryside, and even taking in a surprising hill.

Distance
This run will be just under 13 miles long – Please note that whilst aiming to be as accurate to this as possible, in some circumstances I may be slightly over or under this mileage, but this will be very slightly.
What pace will we be running at?
We will be running at a casual, social pace. These runs are not a race so please be aware that you may not be the slowest runner and we will be running at the pace of the slowest person. If you are able to run at 11/12 min miles you will be fine.
How long will we be running?
I allow 3 hours for this event, but this will depend on the abilities of the people attending. I want everyone to be able to enjoy it without feeling rushed, and to have time to answer any questions that you may have.
Parking?
There is plenty of free parking at the Bure Valley Walk carpark.
What will I need?
We will be running on a variety of terrain from tracks and hard-packed trails, to grassy fields. Sections of the route are muddy, so trail shoes would be advised.
Waterproof jacket and depending on the weather sun cream
At least 500ml of water and as many snacks as you think you’ll need.
Most importantly a willingness to enjoy the trails and have fun.
Refunds?
Although I do not offer refunds in general, if the event is cancelled due to conditions out of my control, where possible I will give at least 24 hours notice, and I will offer a transfer to another event or an 100% refund.
