Wherryman’s Way Ultra Run

Escape with us onto the Wherryman’s way.

Running for 37 miles from Great Yarmouth to Norwich, the trail runs through the Norfolk Broads National Park, including several nature reserves, this route really is something special and one not to be missed.

As with all our events, our expert Run Leaders will be on hand to not only guide you round the trail, but to also give you fascinating information about the local area.

Distance

This run will be 37 miles long.

What pace will we be running at?

We will be running at a casual, social pace. These runs are not a race so please be aware that you may not be the slowest runner and we will be running at the pace of the slowest person. This event is perfect for anyone looking to run their first ultra, we would recommend that you have run at least a marathon before.

Experience Level? Intermediate

How long will we be running?

We allow 9 hours for this event, but this will depend on the abilities of the people attending. We want everyone to be able to enjoy it without feeling rushed.

Getting to the start and parking?

The run starts at Great Yarmouth Station and finishes at Norwich Station. So is perfect for parking at Norwich, catching a train to Yarmouth, then running back to your car.

What’s included?

• Fully qualified and experienced Run Leader to guide you on the trails.
• Fully stocked aid stations every 10 miles.
• Bespoke wooden medal. 
• For every entry £1 will be donated to the Norfolk Trails team to help with the upkeep of the trail.

What will I need?

A recommended kit list will be supplied before the event.

Most importantly a willingness to enjoy the trails and have fun.
